AgentSkills'26 Workshop

Poster presentation โ€” a major milestone for the SkCC project

๐ŸŽ‰ Accepted! SkCC has been accepted as a poster at the AgentSkills'26 Workshop, held at ACM CAIS 2026.

What This Means

This acceptance marks a significant milestone for SkCC. The AgentSkills'26 Workshop is the premier venue for research on agent skills โ€” the very ecosystem SkCC was designed to serve. Being accepted at this workshop validates our core thesis: that classical compilation principles can and should be applied to the emerging agent skill ecosystem.

The poster presentation will give us the opportunity to showcase SkCC's four-phase compilation pipeline, the SkIR intermediate representation, the Anti-Skill Injection security mechanism, and our experimental results across four mainstream agent frameworks โ€” directly to the researchers and practitioners building the future of agent skills.

From Idea to Acceptance

The journey from the initial whiteboard sketch in March 2026 to acceptance at a top-tier workshop in May 2026 has been intense and rewarding. In just two months, we went from concept โ†’ prototype โ†’ working compiler โ†’ experimental validation โ†’ paper submission โ†’ acceptance. This rapid timeline reflects both the urgency of the problem and the clarity of our solution.

We're grateful to the AgentSkills'26 reviewers for their constructive feedback, and to the entire SkCC team โ€” Yipeng Ouyang, Yuhao Gu, Yi Xiao, and Xianwei Zhang โ€” for their dedication to making this vision a reality.

What's Next

With acceptance secured, we're now focused on preparing the camera-ready version and the poster presentation. Beyond the workshop, we continue to develop SkCC as an open-source project, with plans for automated anti-pattern discovery, semantic-level adaptation, and integration with emerging frameworks.
